Bulle

Chief-town of the Gruyere and only city of the Gruyere/Pays-d'Enhaut area, Bulle is located at the heart of an area dominated by majestic Moléson Mountain. Thanks to the A12 motorway, the city develops quickly and its geographical situation makes an ideal place to discover this vast area rich in contrasts.

A sculpture of a bull sits in traffic circle by the train/bus station, showing the emblematic animal for which Bulle is named.

To the museum, in the churches or to the town hall, the many concerts, exposures, conferences, plays are given throughout the year.

Bulle has a worthy building to accommodate national and international exposures. Espace-Gruyère, located a southern entry of the city, is a general-purpose space being able to be placed at the disposal of the organizers of fairs, the Swiss exposure "Goût & Terroir", etc.. In winter, a part of the building is also the only covered ice rink of the area.

December is reserved for the traditional Christmas Market and the weekend of the mid-February is devoted to the Carnival, with its procession of the children accompanied by Guggenmusik bands.
